1. Kansas City (15-6)  

Good News- the once maligned defense is now a strength led by All-Pro DT Chris Jones (10.5 sacks) and kicker Harrison Butker converted 94.3 percent of his attempts

Bad News- QB Patrick Mahomes has thrown 39 INT’s in the past 3 seasons and if the Chiefs hope to three-peat they must improve their minus 11 turnover differential from last year

2. Cincinnati (9-8)

Good News- QB Joe Burrow is healthy after struggling with injuries all the way back to training camp last season and third-round pick Jermaine Burton (Alabama) adds depth at WR

Bad News- the defense took a surprising step back in 2023 ranking 31st in the NFL in yards allowed per game (374.6) and 1,000 RB Joe Mixon must be replaced in the backfield

OVER/UNDER TOTAL WINS 10.5 


3. Baltimore (14-5)

Good News- QB Lamar Jackson flourished under new coordinator Todd Monken winning a second MVP and setting career highs in pass yards and completion percentage

Bad News- the O-line, which was mediocre at best last year, must replace 3 starters in guards Kevin Zeitler and John Sampson along with right tackle Morgan Moses

OVER/UNDER TOTAL WINS 10.5


4. Buffalo (12-7)

Good News- QB Josh Allen is coming off 4 straight 4,000 yard passing seasons and James Cook established himself as the workhorse RB rushing for 1,122 yards on 237 attempts

Bad News- losing top WR Stefon Diggs along with Gabe Davis, who combined for over 1,900 yards and 15 TD’s, is a tough blow and veteran LB Matt Milano is out indefinitely with a biceps tear

5. Miami (11-7)

Good News- first time Pro-Bowler QB Tua Tagovailoa (4,624 yards, 29 TD’s) once again has a stockpile of playmakers at both RB and WR

Bad News- losing former first-round pick DT Christian Wilkins is a big loss for the defensive front which has ranked near the top of the league in rush yards allowed the past 2 seasons

OVER/UNDER TOTAL WINS 9.5


6. Houston (11-8)

Good News- QB C.J. Stroud exceeded everyone’s expectations by throwing for 4,108 yards and 23 TD’s while leading the Texans to a 7-win improvement along with Wild Card victory in his rookie campaign

Bad News- the defense returns only 4 starters from last season and must replace top pass rusher in DE Jonathan Greenard (12.5 sacks)

OVER/UNDER TOTAL WINS 9.5 


7. LA Chargers (5-12)

Good News- Chargers were much better than their 5-12 record in 2023 losing 7 games by 3 points or less and turn the keys over to a proven winning HC in Jim Harbaugh

Bad News- the receiving corps took a hit in the offseason losing Keenan Allen (the franchise leader in receptions) as well as Mike Williams

OVER/UNDER TOTAL WINS 8.5


8. NY Jets (7-10)

Good News- the Jets have 2 top-level receivers in Garrett Wilson and Mike Williams and the defense added DE Hasson Reddick (50.5 sacks since 2020) to replace top pass rusher Bryce Huff

Bad News- 40-year-old QB Aaron Rodgers, coming off a torn Achilles, will be relying on a rebuilt O-line for protection
