Why Dallas will win- The Cowboys showed their 12 regular season wins in the toughest division in the NFL was no fluke with a dominant 31-14 road win over Tom Brady and the Buccaneers. QB Dak Prescott finally silenced the critics with a sensational performance completing 25-33 passes for 305 yards and 4 touchdown passes as well as 1 rushing TD. The defense was impressive as well shutting out Tampa Bay in the first half and holding RB’s Leonard Fournette and Rachaad White to just 52 combined rushing yards.
Why San Francisco will win- The Cowboys vulnerable rush defense will get a much stiffer test this week against the 49ers rushing attack (141.2 ypg) led by Christian McCaffrey (1,139 yards, 8 TD’s). San Francisco’s defense ranks 2nd in the NFL in interceptions with 20 on the year and will look to add to that total against INT prone Prescott who has 15 on the year including 5 multi-interception games. Dallas enters the game with a major question mark at kicker after Brett Maher missed 4 extra points a week ago.
Eye Test Analytics Predicted Outcome- Dallas by .8 points
